Internal Audit Controller

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing internal audit activities to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operational controls. The Internal Audit Controller will play a crucial role in assessing risks, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance the organization's governance and compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute internal audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas.
Identify and evaluate risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with management to improve internal controls and governance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Significant experience in internal auditing or a related field.
Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in audit methodologies and techniques.
Experience with audit software and data analysis tools.
Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CISA) is a plus.
