Legal Manager

This role involves providing comprehensive legal support and guidance to a housing cooperative society. The Legal Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and representing the society in legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing legal advice and guidance on various matters related to housing cooperative law.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases.
Managing legal disputes and representing the society in court or other legal proceedings.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including property laws, labor laws, and consumer protection laws.
Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on changes in the law.
Advising on risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
Working closely with other departments to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business decisions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in law from an accredited institution.
3 to 6 years of experience in a legal role, preferably with experience in property law, cooperative law, or related areas.
Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
