Data Protection Analyst

This role focuses on ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive data within an organization. The Data Protection Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data protection policies, procedures, and technologies to safeguard data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data protection strategies and policies.
Conduct data security risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
Monitor and respond to data security incidents.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement data protection controls.
Maintain data protection documentation and training materials.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of experience in data protection or information security.
Strong understanding of data protection principles and best practices.
Experience with data loss prevention (DLP) technologies.
Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
