Fleet Manager

This role involves overseeing and managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high safety standards. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for optimizing fleet performance, minimizing downtime, and controlling costs while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all aspects of fleet operations.
Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, coordinating with service providers.
Monitor vehicle performance and identify areas for improvement.
Manage fleet budgets and track expenses.
Negotiate contracts with vendors for fuel, maintenance, and other services.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and incidents.
Train and supervise fleet drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Respond to emergency situations involving fleet vehicles.

Requirements/Qualifications

Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using fleet management software.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
