Quantity Surveyor

This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying for water and waste water projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and value engineering to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Cost estimation and budgeting for water and waste water projects.
Contract administration and management.
Value engineering and cost optimization.
Procurement and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitoring project costs and identifying potential cost savings.
Preparing and presenting cost reports to stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements/Qualifications

Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the water and waste water sector.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
