Process Planning Engineer

This role involves developing and implementing efficient and effective process plans to support manufacturing operations. The Process Planning Engineer will be responsible for analyzing product designs, selecting appropriate tooling and equipment, and creating detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to understand product requirements.
Develop and document process plans, including tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in process planning and manufacturing engineering.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
