Observability Engineer

This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall health of complex systems. The Observability Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to provide deep insights into system behavior and facilitate rapid troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement observability solutions, including metrics, logs, and traces.
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using observability data.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate observability into new and existing systems.
Automate observability tasks and processes.
Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience with observability tools and platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Jaeger, Datadog).
Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and tracing concepts.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
