Assistant Manager - Costing

This role involves overseeing and optimizing costing processes within a manufacturing environment. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost calculations, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for reduction.
Develop and maintain costing models and standards.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency.
Prepare cost reports and present findings to management.
Ensure compliance with costing policies and procedures.
Participate in budget planning and forecasting.

Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in costing or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
