DB2 UDB DBA

This role involves providing database administration support for critical business applications. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and integrity of DB2 UDB databases, contributing to the stability and efficiency of the organization's data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
Performance monitoring and tuning.
Backup and recovery management.
Security administration and access control.
Troubleshooting database issues and providing timely resolutions.
Implementing and maintaining database standards and best practices.
Participating in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in DB2 UDB database administration.
Strong understanding of database concepts, including relational database design, SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
