Sr. Merchandiser

This role involves overseeing and coordinating the merchandising process for a garment export house. The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing product lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the entire merchandising process from sourcing to delivery.
Negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Monitoring production schedules and ensuring timely completion.
Coordinating with quality control teams to maintain product standards.
Communicating effectively with clients regarding order status and updates.
Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
Managing and mentoring junior merchandising team members.

Requirements/Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the garment export industry.
Strong understanding of the garment manufacturing process.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with sourcing and vendor management.
