Sanctions CTF Investigator

This role focuses on identifying and mitigating financial crime risks, specifically related to sanctions and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF). The investigator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with global regulations and protecting the organization from illicit activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate suspicious transactions and activities to identify potential sanctions violations and CTF risks.
Conduct thorough due diligence on customers and transactions.
Prepare detailed investigation reports and escalate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other teams to implement and improve risk mitigation strategies.
Stay up-to-date on evolving sanctions regulations and CTF best practices.
Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
Monitor transaction activity for patterns indicative of illicit financial flows.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 10 years of experience in compliance, investigations, or a related field.
Strong understanding of sanctions regulations (e.g., OFAC, EU sanctions) and CTF principles.
Experience with transaction monitoring systems and investigative tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
