Observability Technical Lead

This role is for a highly motivated and experienced technical leader to drive the development and implementation of observability solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of distributed systems, monitoring, and alerting, and will be responsible for guiding a team in building robust and scalable observability platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of observability solutions.
Define and enforce best practices for monitoring, alerting, and logging.
Mentor and guide a team of engineers in observability principles and practices.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate observability into their workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex observability issues.
Evaluate and recommend new observability tools and technologies.

Requirements/Qualifications

8 to 13 years of experience in software engineering.
Strong experience with observability tools and platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana).
Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
