Technical Manager - Steel Detailing

This role involves overseeing and managing steel detailing projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards. The Technical Manager will lead a team of detailers, collaborate with engineers and architects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality detailing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of steel detailers.
Review and approve steel detailing drawings and models.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design issues.
Develop and implement detailing procedures and best practices.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in steel detailing and structural engineering.
Strong knowledge of steel design codes and standards.
Proficiency in steel detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures, AutoCAD).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in project management.
