Medical Coders

This role focuses on accurately translating medical procedures and diagnoses into standardized codes for billing and data analysis. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing patient records, applying appropriate coding guidelines, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret patient medical records.
Assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Verify code accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
Stay updated on coding changes and industry best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Medical Coder.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
