AWS Data Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure within a cloud-based environment. The Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS services.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources.
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and monitoring.
Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.
Implement data security and governance policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience with ETL tools and techniques.
Solid understanding of data modeling and database design.
Programming skills in Python or similar languages.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with big data technologies is a plus.
