Role Overview
Main Street Healthcare Management is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Documentation Review Specialist to join their team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and managing medical records and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit medical records and clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable healthcare standards
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies in medical documentation and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and organizational quality standards
- Maintain organized records and documentation logs using healthcare information systems
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to improve documentation practices
- Prepare reports and summaries on documentation review findings
- Support internal audits and quality assurance initiatives related to medical records
- Stay updated with changes in healthcare documentation guidelines and compliance requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related healthcare field
- Prior experience in medical documentation, medical coding, or health information management is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, and healthcare compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and healthcare management or EMR/EHR software
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of ICD/CPT coding or similar medical coding systems is an added advantage
