Deputy General Manager - Costing and Budgeting

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of costing and budgeting processes within the organization. The Deputy General Manager will ensure accurate financial planning, cost control, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive costing and budgeting strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring.
Oversee cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate allocation and tracking of expenses.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for improved decision-making.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
Manage and mentor a team of costing and budgeting professionals.
Collaborate with various departments to gather data and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Significant experience (11-12 years) in costing and budgeting roles, preferably within the real estate sector.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
