Incident Response Manager

This role is focused on ensuring the security and resilience of our systems and data through proactive incident response management. The Incident Response Manager will be responsible for leading the identification, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts related to security incidents, minimizing business impact and maintaining operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks.
Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business stakeholders, to address incidents.
Continuously improve incident response capabilities through training, testing, and process refinement.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, proactively adapting incident response strategies.

Requirements/Qualifications

Proven experience in incident response, security operations, or a related field.
Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with incident response frameworks and methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
