SSH Engineer

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and infrastructure using SSH and related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles and best practices, with experience in automating tasks and troubleshooting complex issues within a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SSH infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures related to SSH access.
Automate SSH configuration and management tasks using scripting languages.
Troubleshoot and resolve SSH-related issues, including authentication and connectivity problems.
Monitor SSH logs and security events to identify and respond to potential threats.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SSH into broader systems and applications.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as an SSH Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of SSH protocols and security best practices.
Proficiency in Linux system administration.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus.
