Application Support Engineer

This role focuses on providing expert support and maintenance for critical applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and availability. The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, implementing solutions, and collaborating with various teams to optimize application functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain application support procedures and documentation.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application operation.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support.
Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventative measures.
Manage and maintain application infrastructure.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in application support and maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with various operating systems and databases.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with incident management and change management processes.
Solid understanding of ITIL framework.
