Team Lead - HCC Medical Coding Risk Adjustment

This role involves leading a team responsible for accurate and efficient medical coding and risk adjustment processes. The Team Lead will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maximizing reimbursement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of medical coders.
Ensure accurate coding and documentation for risk adjustment programs.
Monitor coding quality and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on coding guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve coding-related issues.
Implement and maintain coding best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 7 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on HCC and risk adjustment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Experience with risk adjustment methodologies.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
