Software Asset Management Executive

This role focuses on managing and optimizing software assets within the organization, ensuring compliance, and maximizing the value of software investments. The Software Asset Management Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, implementing best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to align software usage with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the organization's software asset inventory.
Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
Identify and mitigate software asset-related risks.
Optimize software usage and reduce unnecessary costs.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align software needs.
Develop and implement software asset management policies and procedures.
Conduct software audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Evaluate and recommend software solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 6 years of experience in software asset management.
Strong understanding of software licensing models.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in software asset management tools.
Experience with ITIL framework is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
