Tool Design Department Tool Room Professional

This role involves supporting the design, development, and maintenance of tooling and equipment used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tooling principles, design software, and manufacturing techniques, contributing to the efficiency and quality of production.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop tooling, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify tooling needs.
Create detailed drawings and specifications for tooling fabrication.
Oversee the fabrication and installation of tooling.
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues.
Maintain and repair existing tooling.
Ensure tooling meets quality and safety standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in tooling design and manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, molding).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
