Wintel Administrator

This role focuses on the administration and maintenance of Windows-based server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The Wintel Administrator will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting server environments, implementing security best practices, and supporting critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows servers, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Monitor server performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
Manage user accounts and permissions.
Perform regular server backups and disaster recovery testing.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

4 to 8 years of experience in Windows server administration.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related technologies.
Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with server hardening and security best practices.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
