VDI Engineer

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions to support a dynamic and evolving business environment. The VDI Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the VDI environment, enabling users to access applications and data securely from various devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and configure VDI environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve VDI-related issues.
Manage and maintain VDI infrastructure components.
Implement security best practices for VDI environments.
Monitor VDI performance and optimize for efficiency.
Automate VDI tasks and processes.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate VDI with other systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience with VDI technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops).
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
Experience with Windows Server administration.
Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
