Snowflake Data Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using Snowflake. The Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, data modeling, and indexing strategies.
Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Maintain and enhance existing data infrastructure and processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and querying.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
