Assistant Manager - Costing and Plant Controller

This role involves overseeing and optimizing costing processes within a manufacturing environment. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost accounting, analyzing variances, and providing insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
Analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare cost reports and variance analyses.
Develop and implement standard costing procedures.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4 to 9 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
